High-End Controller OCHSNER TRONIC SMART with App

The OCHSNER TRONIC SMART meets all the requirements of today and tomorrow, and can be integrated directly into holistic building control concepts. The system is extremely straightforward to set up and operate with the OCHSNER app using a smartphone or other mobile device if preferred. The result is more convenient living, more setting options with the home climate functions and high customer satisfaction. Core functions such as the current status of the heat pump, heating circuit, time program, hot water temperatures, current weather data and the forecast are displayed in a user-friendly and self-explanatory manner thanks to the optical user interface.

With inverter technology

This series is fully modulating and continuously adjusts its output to the heat demand. This means that the heat pumps run almost without interruption during the winter season, with switching cycles reduced to a minimum. High grade compressors designed for long runtimes are used for this. This increases the service life of the heat pump. With modulating heat pumps, there is also no need for a heating buffer tank.

Heating and cooling

The heat pump is the only heating system that can also perform cooling. Cooling is achieved via the heating pipes of underfloor and wall heating systems, which absorb the higher temperature indoors and transfer it to the cooler medium (ground or water) via a heat exchanger. Essentially, there are two types of cooling: active and passive – OCHSNER heat pumps offer both – please consult the technical data for the particular type of heat pump.

World record for the quietest operation

The highly efficient AIR HAWK is the quietest air/water heat pump ever to be measured at the Buchs heat pump testing centre in Switzerland (measured on model Air Hawk 208). Even in standard mode, it still does not exceed the extremely low sound level of 45 dB(A), comparable to the noise level in a quiet home. This makes it the star performer for new build projects in high-density residential areas – even in neighbourhoods where the use of air/water heat pumps has thus far been almost impossible.

Noise reduction through whisper quiet operation

The unique and patented whisper quiet operation reduces the sound emissions from OCHSNER horizontal split evaporators to an absolute minimum. You will hardly even notice them working.  In silent mode, which is integrated as standard, the fan speed is reduced according to a fixed proportional function depending on the outside air temperature. This ensures that the system's already extremely low sound emissions in standard operation are reduced even further, for example in summer during DHW or pool heating. Silent mode can be set to four independent, selectable periods. The Super Silent Package is an option for all models in the AIR series and is recommended for especially sensitive areas. The optimised design derived from the aerospace industry reduces noise levels by a further 3 dB(A). 

Pioneer in climate protection

In the AIR HAWK, OCHSNER is already using only refrigerants with a GWP (global warming potential) well below 700, which is the maximum limit prescribed by the EU F-Gas Regulation for the year 2030 onwards. The refrigerant itself and a low charge weight reduce the CO2 equivalence, i.e. the global warming potential.
