The heat pump is suitable for building heat loads between 6 and 11 kW. It delivers flow temperatures up to 70°C. It can also be configured for active cooling. The slimline MULTI TOWER indoor unit has a footprint of less than half a square metre. It includes the heat pump control unit, a 100 litre buffer tank for heating and cooling, a 168 litre DHW tank and all hydraulic components.

Core functions such as the current status of the heat pump, heating circuit, time program, hot water temperatures, current weather data and the forecast are displayed in a user-friendly and self-explanatory manner thanks to the optical user interface.

With inverter technology
This series is fully modulating and continuously adjusts its output to the heat demand. This means that the heat pumps run almost without interruption during the winter season, with switching cycles reduced to a minimum. High grade compressors designed for long runtimes are used for this. This increases the service life of the heat pump. With modulating heat pumps, there is also no need for a heating buffer tank.

Heating and cooling
The heat pump is the only heating system that can also perform cooling. Cooling is achieved via the heating pipes of underfloor and wall heating systems, which absorb the higher temperature indoors and transfer it to the cooler medium (ground or water) via a heat exchanger. Essentially, there are two types of cooling: active and passive – OCHSNER heat pumps offer both – please consult the technical data for the particular type of heat pump.
