Whisper-quiet heat pump
installed in the meeting room
Philipp Steiner founded the WWL Steiner installation company in 2016 and has been an OCHSNER system partner ever since. For space reasons, he soon purchased a plot of land a few kilometres away from the original location and a new building was erected there in 2022.
A heat pump system consisting of three AIR HAWK 518 air/water heat pumps was installed as a cascade at the new company site. It heats and cools the following areas: 350 m² office, 260 m² warehouse, plus a reserve of around 400 m², also earmarked for warehousing. The hot water for the kitchen and sanitary facilities is provided by our flagship product, a EUROPA 333 Genius.
Each heat pump currently has an annual energy consumption of approx. 3000 kWh for heating and cooling. Even at outside temperatures of –18°C, the heat pumps have been running to date without an electric immersion heater.
When Philipp Steiner installed this system, it was the first time the AIR HAWK 518 had been used as a cascade, and he is more than satisfied with the annual COP of approx 5.
