GEOTHERMAL HEAT PUMP
OCHSNER TERRA FOX
Below the surface, there is constant warmth – regardless of how cold it is outside. TERRA FOX brings this energy into the house: highly efficient, quiet, and with minimal operating costs. For single-family homes as well as for floor stations in buildings with many residential units.

Compact Tower S200 or Heat Pump Indoor Unit S1
The OCHSNER TERRA FOX is available in two versions. As a compact Tower S200, it combines heat pump and hot water storage on less than 0.5 m² of floor space. The even more compact indoor unit S1 without its own hot water storage is available for external hot water preparation or storage.

User-Friendly Touch Display, Modbus Interface and App
The control is done via the OCHSNER Tronic Fox (OTF), with operation optionally on the touch display of the heat pump or via the OCHSNER Easy App. Integration into building management systems or smart home systems is easily possible via the Modbus interface. For extremely low energy costs, the heat pumps are SG-ready and can utilize solar power and the intelligent power grids of the future.

Highly Efficient Station for Single and Multi-Family Homes
The series utilizes geothermal energy in cold district heating networks in a highly versatile manner. The devices offer suitable solutions for different house and apartment sizes. Flow temperatures of up to 65 °C make them suitable for operation with radiators. Especially in multi-family properties, areas can be optimally utilized due to the compact dimensions.

Multi-Stage Power Adjustment
TERRA FOX operates with inverter technology and adapts to the current heat demand. An additional heating buffer storage is not required. This saves money, time, and space.

Heating, Hot Water, and Cooling
The models can also be used for passive cooling with optional additional equipment.

Model Variety in Geothermal Energy
The TERRA FOX series is available in three performance sizes for building heating loads from 4 - 16 kW and operates with the refrigerant R452B.
Frequently Asked Questions about OCHSNER EUROPA
R452B is a modern HFO refrigerant blend with significantly reduced greenhouse potential compared to traditional HFC refrigerants. It operates efficiently across the entire performance range and is particularly suitable for use in heat pumps with high flow temperatures. The TERRA FOX exclusively uses R452B.
The Tower S200 combines a heat pump and a hot water storage tank in a compact device with a footprint of less than 0.5 m². The Indoor Unit S1 does not have its own storage tank – it is used where hot water preparation is done via a separate storage tank. Which version is suitable depends on the available space and the planned hydraulics.
Yes. With optional additional equipment, passive cooling is possible. In this case, heat from the underfloor heating is dissipated to the ground via the ground probes. Since the ground is significantly cooler at around 10 °C in summer than the room air, indoor temperatures can be noticeably lowered – with minimal electricity consumption, as only the circulation pump operates.
The heat source ground can be accessed either via flat collectors or ground probes. Flat collectors are laid horizontally in the ground and are subject to notification. Ground probes go vertically into the depth – a permit from the lower water authority is required from 100 m. Which variant is sensible depends on the size of the property, soil conditions, and local circumstances.
No. Thanks to inverter technology, the TERRA FOX continuously adapts to the current heat demand – an additional buffer storage tank is not required. This saves space, installation effort, and costs.
