GEOTHERMAL HEAT PUMP
OCHSNER GEO FOX
Beneath the surface, there is constant heat – regardless of how cold it is outside. GEO FOX brings this energy into the house: highly efficient, quiet, and with minimal operating costs. For single-family homes as well as for floor stations in buildings with many residential units.

Compact Tower S200 or
Heat Pump Indoor Unit S1
The OCHSNER GEO FOX is available in two versions. As a compact Tower S200, it combines heat pump and hot water storage in less than 0.5 m² of floor space. The even more compact indoor unit S1 without its own hot water storage is available for external hot water preparation or storage.

User-Friendly Touch Display, Modbus Interface and App
The control is done via the OCHSNER Tronic Fox (OTF), with operation optionally on the heat pump's touch display or via the OCHSNER Easy App. Integration into building management systems or smart home systems is easily possible via the Modbus interface. For extremely low energy costs, the heat pumps are SG-ready and can utilize solar power and the intelligent power grids of the future.

Highly Efficient Station for Single and Multi-Family Homes
The series utilizes geothermal energy in cold district heating networks in a highly versatile manner. The devices offer suitable solutions for different house and apartment sizes. Flow temperatures of up to 70 °C make them suitable for operation with radiators. Especially in multi-family properties, spaces can be optimally utilized due to the compact dimensions.

Multi-Stage Power Adjustment
GEO FOX operates with inverter technology and adapts to the current heat demand. An additional heating buffer storage is not required. This saves money, time, and space.

Heating, Hot Water, and Cooling
The models can also be used for passive cooling with optional additional equipment.

Model Variety in Geothermal Energy
The GEO FOX series is available in three performance sizes for building heating loads between 2 and 16 kW and operates with the refrigerant R290.
Frequently Asked Questions about the OCHSNER GEO FOX
The heat source ground can be accessed either through flat collectors or ground probes. Flat collectors are laid horizontally in the ground and are subject to notification. Ground probes go vertically into the depth – a permit from the lower water authority is required from 100 m. Which variant is sensible depends on the size of the property, soil conditions, and local circumstances.
No. Thanks to inverter technology, the GEO FOX continuously adapts to the current heat demand – an additional buffer storage is not required. This saves space, installation effort, and costs.
Yes. With optional additional equipment, passive cooling is possible. Heat is conducted from the surface heating through the ground probes to the ground. Since the ground is significantly cooler at around 10 °C in summer than the room air, indoor temperatures can be noticeably lowered – with minimal electricity consumption, as only the circulation pump runs.
R290 is propane – a natural refrigerant with very low greenhouse potential. It operates thermodynamically highly efficiently and is not synthetically produced. The GEO FOX exclusively uses R290.
The Tower S200 combines heat pump and hot water storage in a compact device with less than 0.5 m² of floor space. The indoor unit S1 does not have its own storage – it is used where hot water preparation is done through a separate storage. Which version fits depends on the available space and the planned hydraulics.
