Monoblock with the highest safety standards
The entire heat pump technology, including table evaporator and compressor, is integrated into the externally installed monoblock heat pump. This saves space in the house. Two water-carrying lines lead into the building. The OCHSNER R290 safety concept includes a system separation via a brine intermediate circuit. This separation of the refrigerant and heating circuit prevents the refrigerant from ever entering the heating water. This factory precaution is a unique feature of OCHSNER and ensures absolute operational safety.
Control or HYDRO internal unit?
For installation in the house, two devices are available. The CONTROL MODULE houses the controller and control unit for the heat pump. The standard accessories include a circulation pump and a system pressure sensor. The HYDRO MODULE combines the controller, control unit, and all essential hydraulic components for the operation of the heating system.

The OCHSNER AIR EAGLE is equipped with the advanced control OCHSNER TRONIC SMART (OTS). It allows user-friendly and versatile control via touch display or the OCHSNER Smart App independent of location via the internet.
For larger new and existing buildings
The OCHSNER AIR EAGLE high-tech heat pump is versatile in larger existing and new buildings such as single-family and multi-family houses, commercial, administration, etc. With very high flow temperatures of up to 70 °C, it is also suitable for radiators. For high heating loads, the series can be cascaded multiple times.
Heating, hot water & cooling
In addition to the main applications of heating and hot water, the AIR EAGLE models can also be optionally used for active cooling via underfloor heating or fan coils.

The AIR EAGLE 1830 is designed for larger new and existing buildings: single-family and multi-family homes, commercial and administrative buildings, as well as large individual properties. With heating loads of up to 30 kW and flow temperatures of up to 70 °C, it is suitable for both underfloor heating and existing radiator systems. By cascading, a multiple of this heating load can be realized.
The AIR EAGLE is a monoblock heat pump: all heat pump technology, including the evaporator and compressor, is integrated into the outdoor unit. Only two water-carrying lines lead into the building. A separate indoor unit – control module or hydro module – takes care of regulation and hydraulics.
The OCHSNER R290 safety concept completely separates the refrigerant and heating circuits through a factory-integrated brine intermediate circuit. This ensures that R290 can never enter the heating water under any circumstances. This system separation is a unique feature of OCHSNER and ensures absolute operational safety when using the natural refrigerant.
R290 (propane) is a natural refrigerant with a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of well below 1 – climatically nearly neutral and not affected by the EU F-Gas Regulation. It contains no halogenated substances and is not subject to any future usage restrictions.
The AIR EAGLE delivers flow temperatures of up to 70 °C for heating and hot water. This makes it suitable for older buildings with radiators without the need for extensive adjustments to the existing heating system.
The OCHSNER table evaporator with horizontally mounted fans draws air from below and blows it out upwards. This allows for a small installation distance to the building and very low sound emissions. The sound pressure level is 37 dB(A) at 3 m. In silent mode with reduced speeds, it decreases further.
Yes, optionally. The AIR EAGLE can be used for active air conditioning via underfloor heating or fan coils and provides cooling capacities of up to 17 kW.
